Cash Processing Teller

About the role

As a Cash Processing Teller, you will perform deposit processing functions and maintain compliance with company policies and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Verify assigned work and inspect deposit bags for evidence of tampering.
• Perform deposit processing functions, including reconciling any out-of-balance conditions.
• Maintain compliance with all company policies, including state and federal regulations.
• Identify counterfeit, suspicious activity (SAR), and potential AML red-flag transactions; report immediately to supervisor.
• Meet or exceed established deposit processing productivity standards.
• Verify cash settlements are accurate and transfer funds to appropriate vaults.
• Identify and share process improvement opportunities.
• Work independently without direct supervision or oversight.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Cash handling and balancing experience highly desired.
• 1-2 years teller experience preferred.
• Strong data entry skills and experience.
• Detail-oriented with basic math skills.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment is a plus.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs as needed.
