Cash Processing Teller
About the role
As a Cash Processing Teller, you will verify assigned work and inspect deposit bags for evidence of tampering. You will perform deposit processing functions including reconciling any out-of-balance conditions, maintain compliance with all company policies including state and federal regulations, and identify counterfeit, suspicious activity, and any potential AML red flag transactions, reporting same to Supervisor. You will meet or exceed all established deposit processing productivity standards, verify cash settlements are accurate, and transfer funds to appropriate vaults. You will identify and share process improvement opportunities and work independently without direct supervision or oversight.
Responsibilities
- Verify assigned work and inspect deposit bags for evidence of tampering.
- Perform deposit processing functions including reconciling any out-of-balance conditions.
- Maintain compliance with all company policies including state and federal regulations.
- Identify counterfeit, suspicious activity (SAR), and any potential AML red flag transactions and immediately report same to Supervisor.
- Meet or exceed all established deposit processing productivity standards.
- Verify cash settlements are accurate and transfer funds to appropriate vaults.
- Identify and share process improvement opportunities.
- Work independently without direct supervision or oversight.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Cash handling and balancing experience highly desired.
- 1-2 years teller experience preferred.
- Strong data entry skills and experience.
- Detail-oriented with basic math skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs as needed.

Pay
$18.50 per hour
Schedule
Monday – Friday (No Weekends)
Shift: 9:00 AM – 5:30 AM
