About the role
The Cash Management Support Specialist is responsible for performing operational support duties for cash management products and services. Provides a full range of professional, technical, and general assistance to business customers and internal customers including:
- Fully supporting the Remote Deposit Capture product;
- performs business customer setups;
- prepares contracts, maintains business customer files;
- maintains product usage and system operations;
- resolves problems within given authority.
Responsibilities
Complies with all policies and regulations and ensures that all security measures and controls are followed. Provides training assistance to business and internal customers on the features and benefits of cash management products and services. Performs a variety of routine daily tasks; reviews reports, prepares correspondence; and participates in special department projects.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or GED;
- Associates degree preferred;
- Customer service and/or sales experience;
- Minimum four years Call Center experience or two years Call Center plus 2 years branch, back-office or other customer support experience;
- NBT experience preferred.
Skills and Abilities
- Strong oral and written communication skills;
- Must have a positive attitude and willingness to work in a team environment;
- PC skills in a Windows environment to include Word/Excel;
- Technical knowledge of the installation and working knowledge of a PC scanner;
- Excellent and problem solving skills and the ability to trouble shoot technical issues;
- Able to provide comprehensive training to customers;
- Understand the roles and functions of various internal departments including Deposit and Loan Operations, Item Processing, Statement Rendering, EFT, Remote Deposit Capture and Research;
- In depth knowledge of bank policies and procedures.
Unique Job Characteristics and Requirements
- Travel required, may include overnights;
- Valid driver’s license.

- Communicate effectively with internal and/or external customers;
- Stationary 75% of time or greater;
- Move Objects to Maximum 10 lbs.
