Cash Equities - Central Risk Trader - Executive Director

About the role

The US-based Cash Equities Central Risk Book (CRB) Trader in Global Equities will work in close partnership with technology and quant research professionals, as well as the global CRB trading team, to enhance client execution through systematic liquidity provision, research and implement strategies to improve desk profitability, and manage the risk and operation of systematic trading.

Responsibilities

• Research and implementation of trading signals and liquidity provision strategies in global cash equities and futures
• Oversight and development of the systematic risk management of the desk's portfolio using risk models and optimizers
• Development of risk pricing and execution cost models to reduce costs and improve profitability
• Collaborating proactively with the CRB technology and quant research team members, as well as with the global CRB trading team
• Building and maintaining relationships with clients of the CRB trading services

Requirements

• Experience trading and managing risk in equity markets, ideally US
• Proven trading track record of systematic trading profitability and understanding of common systematic trading strategies
• Fluency in quantitative data analysis using latest tools, preferably Python, pandas, and KDB
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Strong communication, both real-time and technical

Preferred Qualifications

• Series 7, Series 57, and Series 63 licenses

Pay

Competitive total rewards package including base salary determined based on the role, experience, skill set, and location. Commission-based pay and discretionary incentive compensation may be available for eligible roles.
