Cash Applications Specialist

About the role

As a Cash Applications Specialist, you will be responsible for processing and verifying cash transactions.

Responsibilities

• Process incoming payments and ensure accuracy of financial data.
• Verify and reconcile bank statements to maintain accurate records.
• Handle customer inquiries related to payment issues and discrepancies.
• Prepare and submit reports on payment activities for management review.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in accounting or finance.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

Qualifications

• Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
