Cash Application Supervisor - FT - Day - Collections & Customer Svc Lawrenceville NJ
Position Overview
Reviews, monitors and discusses cash applications issues with staff to ensure complete, accurate and proper performance as directed by Cash Applications Manager. Performs Cash Application Functions As Required. Oversees cash application process and cash posting. Acts as a quality assurance reviewer to ensure work completed is accurate and timely. Monitors timely cash application work lists to prevent aging. Leads daily departmental activities in absence of Manager. Assists cashiers to ensure that cash is posted correctly and timely and balances at end of day. Completes ERA/EFT documentation for new payors. Performs other duties as assigned and adapts to changing departmental demands.
Minimum Requirements
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Two years’ experience with cash posting, one of which is in a supervisory position, in a healthcare setting.
- Other Credentials: Knowledge and Skills - Effective verbal and written communication skills. Strong customer service skills. Knowledge of Microsoft Office.

- Occasional physical demands include: Standing, Walking, Climbing (e.g., stairs or ladders), Carry objects, Push/Pull, Twisting, Bending, Reaching forward, Reaching overhead, Squat/kneel/crawl, Wrist position deviation.
- Continuous physical demands include: Sitting.

- Maintains accurate records and reports.
- Makes recommendations for process improvements.
- Monitors timely cash application work lists to prevent aging.
- Leads daily departmental activities in absence of Manager.
- Affords assistance to cashiers to ensure that cash is posted correctly and timely and balances at end of day.
- Completes ERA/EFT documentation for new payors.
- Performs other duties as assigned and adapts to changing departmental demands.

- Ability to effectively mentor, coach, and direct others.
- Ability to effectively communicate and respond to questions.
Pay Range
$21.33 - $27.73
