Cash Application/Accounting Specialist

About the role

Pure Water Partners, a privately held specialty finance company in the bottle-free water marketplace, is seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, and motivated Cash Application/Accounting Specialist. This on-site, full-time role focuses on timely and accurate cash application and assists with accurate accounting of lease receivables. The position involves processing payments, researching and reconciling unapplied items, and interacting with customers to address contract payments, accounts receivable, and billing questions.

Responsibilities

• Support accounting renewals and billing/payments
• Remain highly organized and manage multiple priorities and/or projects using appropriate methodologies and tools
• Daily interaction with business partners via telephone and email
• Work in a team environment and demonstrate excellent interaction with other departments
• Perform other tasks to support the finance department

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree or higher (Required)
• Previous accounting or banking-related experience (2 years required)
• Excellent customer service and telephone skills
• Computer proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, QuickBooks, and other business platforms)
• Problem-solving skills and ability to think under pressure
• Ability to commute to Sandpoint, ID 83864 (Required)
