The Job at a Glance
- Responsible for reconciling the company's cash activities
- Work closely with the Cash Application and Accounts Payable teams
- Calculate month-end accruals for cash-in-transit and foreign currency revaluation entries
- Avoid cash-related clearing general ledger accounts
- Support during the month-end close process and back-up for other accounting duties
- Assist with periodic customer rebates
About the Role
The Cash Accountant (internally known as Month End Maniac) will perform various staff accountant duties, including:
- Periodic cash reconciliations for all cash accounts
- Cash application and accounts payable assistance
- Monthly cash reconciliations to identify variances
- Updating and reconciling balance sheet reconciliations
- Supporting the month-end close process
- Providing back-up for other accounting duties
- Aiding with periodic customer rebates
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or 2-5 years of Accounting experience with high volume reconciliation tasks
- Proficient Excel skills including VLOOKUPS and Pivot Tables
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Analytical and attention to detail

The salary range for this role is $46,507.79 - $62,763.98 ($22.36 - $30.17 hourly)
