About the role

Responsible for the evaluation and treatment of an assigned caseload of adolescent inpatients, providing a range of psychosocial care. Works at Somerville Hospital adolescent inpatient site, under social work clinical supervision and administrative supervision at the service site.

Responsibilities

• Provide a variety of outreach and education services.
• Provide patient advocacy that is culturally sensitive and linguistically appropriate for target populations.
• Develop community awareness of and facilitate the use of primary health care services for a variety of health issues.

Requirements

• College degree or equivalent plus four years of experience in a relevant human service field.
• Demonstrated experience working in multicultural and multidisciplinary settings (required).
• Experience working with relevant community groups (preferred).
• Bicultural and/or bilingual in the specific cultural/language group of the population/community served.

Schedule

• Day shift, 8-hour shifts
• Hours: 8:30 AM–5:00 PM, Monday–Friday
• 40 hours per week
• No weekend, holiday, or on-call requirements
