CASE WORKER RESIDENTIAL

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide operational duties assigned by the Residential Manager.
• Perform case management duties as needed.
• Attend and participate in staff meetings, document meeting minutes, and complete program-related paperwork.
• Maintain valid Driver’s License and provide transportation as required.
• Oversee shift documentation and ensure professional and accurate reporting.
• Instruct, supervise, and evaluate individuals in all areas of community living.
• Implement behavior plan interventions as assigned.
• Assist individuals with scheduling and attending medical appointments.
• Administer medications as required.
• Support individuals with personal care responsibilities.
• Perform additional duties as required, including clearing snow and ice.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and the internet.
• Education related to psychology, social work, special education, or a related human service field preferred.
• At least one year of residential experience.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Successful completion and maintenance of all state and agency mandated trainings, including medication administration.
• Willingness to authorize a Criminal History Background Check (CORI) and release of information concerning allegations from Disabled Persons Protection Commission (DPPC), Department of Developmental Services (DDS), and other agencies.
• Able to perform each essential function satisfactorily.
