Case Picker 1st Shift

About the role

Ryder is hiring Case Pickers in Tarboro, North Carolina. The role involves handling electronic repair parts using pallet jacks and RF scanners in a warehouse distribution environment.

Pay

Hourly pay: $19.50 per hour. Overtime pay: $29.25 per hour when working overtime.

Schedule

First shift, Monday‑Friday, 7:00 am – 3:00 pm.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One (1) year or more previous warehouse experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
• Adequate math skills
• Ability to recognize and read location codes and product codes
• Meet and exceed established Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization
• Capable of multi‑tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills
• Detail oriented with excellent follow‑up practices
• Note: Some positions may require additional screening (employment/education verification, motor vehicle records check, road test, badging or background checks).

Responsibilities

• Pick product and case pick
• Palletize, hand stack, and stretch wrap product as required
• Safely operate material handling equipment
• Assist in cycle counting and inventory control as required
• Assist in resolving inventory discrepancies as required
• Perform other duties as assigned
