Case Picker 1st Shift

About the role

Ryder is hiring Case Pickers for its warehouse in Tarboro, North Carolina. You will handle electronic repair parts using pallet jacks and RF scanners in a safe, state‑of‑the‑art supply chain environment with caring leadership.

Responsibilities

• Picking product and case pick
• Palletize, hand stack and stretch wrap product as required
• Safely operate material handling equipment
• Assist in cycle counting and inventory control as required
• Assist in resolving inventory discrepancies as required
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One (1) year or more previous warehouse experience preferred

Skills

• Adequate math skills
• Ability to recognize and read location codes and product codes
• Meet and exceed established Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to create and maintain professional relationships at all levels (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)
• Capable of multi‑tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills
• Detail oriented with excellent follow‑up practices

Pay

Hourly pay: $19.50 per hour. Overtime pay: $29.25 per hour when working overtime.

Schedule

First shift, Monday‑Friday, 7:00 am – 3:00 pm.
