Case Packer Operator - 1st Shift

About the role

The Production Operator is a member of the bottling department. The position may work one of the following roles: Filler, Case Packer, Palletizer, Case Former, Labeler, and Depalletizer.

Responsibilities

• Manual operation of equipment assigned.
• Clean and sanitize equipment assigned.
• Various mechanical duties as necessary.
• Perform changeovers as required.
• Follow plant GMPs at all times and ensure work area is secure (Food Safety role).
• Accurately maintain required records to ensure compliance with Company and/or government standards.
• Work safely.
• Any other tasks required by the supervisor.

This position will back up other operators trained in the use of equipment or the relief operator during an absence.

Physical Requirements

The following physical demands are required up to 90% of the time:

• Ability to turn head to look right/left as well as up and down.
• Ability to twist body at waist.
• Ability to bend/squat/kneel.
• Ability to grasp bottles.
• Ability to reach with both arms.
• Ability to stand for 8 hours during a shift minus breaks and lunch.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum one year experience in a juice processing facility preferred.
• Ability to read/write in English.
• Good communication skills.
• A demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement.
• Personally invested in the success of the business.
• Motivated, focused, and accountable for results.

Pay

$18.50–19/hour
