Case Packer Operator - 1st Shift

Maintain and clean mechanical equipment, machinery, and components, keep floor area free of bottles and cardboard
Conduct periodic inspections to evaluate requests for repair
Ensure compliance to company requirements, such as codes, label placement and box forming quality, notify any deviations to supervisor and or maintenance department
Complete all work in accordance with established safety procedures
Accountable for food safety, food quality and regulatory requirements for their position
Adept to adopt and maintain all SQF requirements for their position
Empowered to work with supervision to resolve food safety and food quality issues within their scope of work
Work with quality personnel to separate flavor changes at end of run, ensure there are no mixed cases at end or start of run

Minimum Required Qualifications: Three years of mechanic experience, High school diploma or equivalent, Excellent verbal and written communication skills, Detail oriented and can multi-task, Excellent time management skills
Additional Preferred Qualifications: Experience in the food/beverage industry a plus, Previous experience in Manufacturing or production environment a plus, Ability to direct, coach and train others, Consultative, influential, strategic thinking and problem-solving skills

Frequent: Ability to talk and hear; ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, stoop, bend and/or crouch; push/pull; lift up to 50 pounds; use of hands and fingers to operate machinery/equipment and all manual and electronic equipment in area of responsibility
Occasional: Squatting, kneeling, ability to reach above and at shoulder height. Ability to wear a dust mask and perform Confined Entry using LOTO program. Exposure to toxic and corrosive chemicals
