About the role

The Case Manager - Shelter Operations plays a crucial role in supporting individuals experiencing homelessness through comprehensive case management services.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and document client needs, including housing, health, and social services.
  • Develop and implement individualized service plans to address identified needs.
  • Coordinate with various community resources to ensure clients access necessary services.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all client interactions and progress.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support to clients as needed.
  • Participate in regular team meetings to discuss client cases and coordinate efforts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in social services or related field.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of local homeless services and resources.
  • Experience working with diverse populations.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.

Skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Pay

$25.00 per hour.

Schedule

Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
