Job Responsibilities
- Oversight of resident's programs, goals, and community outings
- Work closely with a team of professionals to ensure quality care and programming
- Create programs to nurture the growth of residents in physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects
- Develop programs based on residents' individual goals and desired skills
Requirements
- Minimum 1-year experience working with persons with developmental disabilities
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in human services, psychology, sociology, special education, or rehabilitation
- Ability to provide physical care to residents
- Demonstrated communication skills (oral and written)
- Demonstrated leadership abilities
- Commitment to residents' rights
- Time management and resource allocation skills
- Flexibility and adaptability in various shifts and supervision
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field
- Experience: Minimum 1-year experience working with persons with developmental disabilities
- Skills: Ability to provide physical care, effective communication, leadership, and time management
Pay and Benefits
- Base pay: $25.50 an hour
- PM shift differential: $1.50 an hour
- Weekend differential: $6 an hour
- Pay range: $25.50 - $31.50 per hour
