About the role
Valeris is a fully integrated life sciences commercialization partner that provides comprehensive solutions to improve the patient experience and ensure access to critical medications. The Case Manager plays a crucial role in managing patient cases from initiation to closure, ensuring timely and accurate communication with patients, prescribers, and other stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Builds trusted relationships with patients, prescribers, and client stakeholders through proactive communication and timely execution of deliverables.
- Manages all relationships in compliance with healthcare laws and regulations.
- Welcomes patients with program calls and explains coverage options after benefits investigations.
- Triage client inquiries and manages HCP inquiries according to business rules.
- Manages inbound calls using approved FAQs and directs patients to appropriate resources.
- Provides personalized case management to patients and HCPs, including outbound communications and nurse educator coordination.
- Identifies and communicates patient's plan benefit coverage, handles prior authorizations, appeals, and tier exceptions, and coordinates shipment of product through patient assistance programs.
- Supports adherence services through nurse follow-up and reports adverse events and medical inquiries.
- Utilizes electronic tools to identify benefits and payer coverage and completes manual benefit investigations as needed.
- Documents all activities within the PharmaCord Lynk system in accordance with business requirements.
- Adheres to Valeris' values and ensures compliance with all corporate policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred or equivalent experience required.
- Customer service and healthcare industry experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work an 8.5-hour shift between 8 am to 11 pm, Monday to Friday.
- Bi-lingual in English and Spanish or Chinese/Mandarin is a plus.
