Key Responsibilities

  • Outreach & Recruitment: Monitor and respond to Asana inquiries, schedule appointments, and conduct follow-ups.
  • Enrollment Assistance: Assist with eligibility screening, intake processes, and documentation.
  • Assessment & Testing (CASAS): Facilitate and proctor CASAS assessments, score and grade tests, and provide guidance.
  • Data Entry & Reporting: Perform data entry into CalJobs system and prepare reports for audits or monitoring.
  • Administrative Support: Handle general administrative tasks, assist with program documentation, and participate in team meetings.

Qualifications

  • Interest in workforce development, education, or social services.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and/or data systems.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with diverse or underserved populations.
  • Familiarity with case management systems or CRM tools (e.g., Asana, CalJobs).
  • Bilingual skills (preferred but not required).

Learning Outcomes

  • Gain hands-on experience in workforce development program operations.
  • Develop skills in case management, data tracking, and participant services.
  • Build knowledge of workforce systems, eligibility, and compliance requirements.
  • Enhance professional communication and community engagement skills.

Work Environment

  • Combination of office and community-based work.
  • May include occasional evening or weekend outreach events.
  • Lifting up to 25lbs.
