Duties and Responsibilities
- Aid individuals with service needs, develop strategies, and build supportive social support networks.
- Coordinate rehabilitation services as outlined in the individual's recovery plan.
- Support individuals in crisis situations.
- Assess, monitor, and provide assistance to individuals.
- Establish professional and ethical relationships with individuals, families, and coworkers.
- Provide direct service to individuals, complete necessary paperwork according to policy, and ensure individuals meet eligibility criteria or refer to appropriate providers.
- Manage a caseload by ensuring all services are authorized, chart paperwork is complete and current, and consumer charts are closed according to Agency guidelines.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field.
- Experience working with individuals with mental health issues and/or substance use disorders.
- Knowledge of community resources and services.
- Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with clients, families, and colleagues.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

- Knowledge of mental health and substance use disorder treatment models.
