Case Manager
About the role

Responsibilities
- Sweeps, strips, waxes, buffs, mops and vacuums floor surfaces.
- Cleans and disinfects restrooms; replenishes paper supplies and soap as necessary.
- Cleans windows, walls, woodwork and light fixtures.
- May clean jail cells and treatment plants, removing trash, sweeping and mopping floors.
- Sets up and breaks down conference rooms for meetings, arranging furniture as requested.
- Empties trash receptacles.
- Cleans door mats.
- Cleans, dusts, and polishes tables and other furniture.
- Replaces light bulbs and fluorescent tubes.
- Gathers cans, bottles, and newspapers from designated boxes for recycling.
- Gathers white paper and computer papers for recycling.
- Washes windows, as needed.
- Picks up mail at post office, sorts and delivers various departments' mail; delivers mail to the post office.
- Delivers copy paper to County offices.
- Sets up and breaks down conference rooms for meetings, arranging furniture as requested.
- Secures and locks building at appropriate times; unlocks buildings.
- May perform landscaping maintenance duties such as mowing the grass, picking up trash and debris, raking leaves, etc.
- Stocks cleaning supplies.
- Prepares coffee.
- Raises and lowers the flag.
- May take deposits to the bank; may deliver payroll checks.
- Retrieves and delivers documents to various departments.
Requirements
Some experience in custodial work with some experience in the use of heavy floor stripping, waxing, and buffing equipment preferred; or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
