CASE MANAGER
About the role
The Arizona Department of Child Safety (DCS) is a social and human services agency dedicated to protecting and supporting the safety, well-being, and future of vulnerable children and families. DCS is seeking a Case Manager/Child Safety Specialist to work in Safford, Arizona.
Responsibilities
- Respond to allegations of child abuse or neglect
- Conduct interviews and assess child safety
- Work with families in their homes and in the community
- Cookordinate services and develop case plans
- Attend court hearings and prepare professional reports
- Transport children and support placement needs
- Manage cases throughout assigned region
- Collaborate with courts, providers, and partner agencies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree from an accredited institution (or 4 years as a DCS Case Aide)
- Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record
- Able to obtain and maintain a Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Successful completion of 22-week in-person training program

Pay
Starting salary: $21.7068 with step increases after training & years of service.
Schedule
Full-time, 40 hours per week on-site/in field; alternative work hours may be required.
