Case Manager

Responsibilities

• Provide case management services to consumers of the Day Treatment Program.
• Collaborate with the Director and Supervisors to ensure adherence to the agency’s mission.
• Uphold a drug-and violence-free day treatment environment.
• Adhere to the Office of Mental Health and agency policies and procedures.
• Report significant program or consumer concerns to the Clinical Director.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology or related field
• Minimum of one year experience working with MICA population
• Knowledge of addiction counseling
• Understanding of regulations governing MICA/Day Treatment Programs
• Computer literacy
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
• Strong leadership qualities
• Team player
• Ability to handle routine and crisis situations with good judgment

Work Environment

• The position operates within a Day Treatment Program with working hours from Monday through Friday, 9am-5pm.
• The role may require a flexible schedule, including some evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• The environment is drug-and violence-free, promoting a safe and supportive space for consumers and staff.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bronx, NY.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $29.00/hr.
