What You’ll Be Doing

You will manage a complex caseload, performing everything from emergency triage to long-term protective planning.

Qualifications

  • Education: Graduate of an accredited college or university with a BSW or BA/BS (Psychology or Gerontology preferred).
  • Technical Skills: Computer literacy and the ability to maintain meticulous records.
  • Communication: Proficiency in English required; knowledge of Yiddish, Russian, Spanish, or Patois is helpful.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to travel to clients’ homes using mass transit and navigate physical barriers (stairs, etc.) in residences.
  • Core Values: Ability to understand and appreciate the roles of race, religion, ethnicity, and sexual orientation in serving a diverse client base.
