Case Dock Operator

About the role

Shift: 1st Hours: 5:00 AM - 5:30 PM
Ability to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Unloads trailers as received and documents and accounts for cases and pallets accurately.
• Lifts, stacks, and loads pallets, and additional items needed from trailers.
• Safely transfers cases to the chain.
• When the chain is full, assists with alternative job tasks to support production.
• Keeps the work area clean and orderly and in safe condition.
• Cleans case washer, case dock drain, or trailers safely, working around chemicals and machinery.
• Maintains effective communication through radio systems for operational efficiency.
• Collaborates with team members to achieve shared goals and ensure successful task completion.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• Communication skills to ensure clear and effective interaction through various channels.
• Accountability for actions and anticipation of challenges.
• Problem-solving abilities to address complex issues.
• Customer-focused approach to meet both internal and external customer needs.
• Initiative to identify opportunities and address potential threats.
• Collaboration to work harmoniously with others towards a common goal.
