About the role

We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused member to join our team. In this role, you will operate and maintain heavy equipment, perform general site maintenance, and support daily dock operations while ensuring compliance with all safety and environmental standards.

Responsibilities

- Perform general labor duties, including site cleanup, shoveling, and facility maintenance as needed. - Safely operate heavy mobile equipment. - Perform routine operator maintenance and inspections on assigned equipment. - Demonstrate basic mechanical aptitude to identify and address minor equipment issues. - Lift and move heavy materials when required. - Maintain a valid TWIC card and be able to obtain one by successfully passing the required background check. - Work a flexible schedule, including required weekends and holidays, based on vessel schedules. - Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.

Requirements

- 12 months of heavy equipment experience - Prior work experience preferred working in or around heavy equipment - Basic mechanical maintenance knowledge and skills. - Proven safety record. - Able to lift up to 50 pounds. - Education: HS Diploma or GED.

Qualifications

- Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
