About the role
The Arizona Department of Child Safety (DCS) is a social and human services agency dedicated to protecting and supporting the safety, well-being, and future of vulnerable children and families. We are currently hiring Assistant Case Managers - Case Aide positions at our Bullhead City office.
Responsibilities
- Support children and families under the direction of a Case Manager
- Provide direct services in Department of Child Safety programs
- Transport clients and ensure proper use of child safety seats
- Schedule appointments and coordinate services
- Supervise parent-child visits
- Refer clients to community resources
- Attend court hearings and required meetings
- Document client interactions and activities
- Provide general case management and clerical support
- May be required to work outside of regular hours, including weekends, holidays, and overtime
Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license and satisfactory 39 month driving record
- The ability to obtain and maintain a valid Department of Public Safety Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Work history, Central Registry, and Public Record will be considered
- Knowledge areas that support success: basic principles of human and social services, child welfare and family support concepts, and basic safety practices related to client transportation and child safety seating
