About the role
The role is dedicated to providing comprehensive support to foster youth and adoptive families, focusing on mental health services and therapeutic visitation.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual and family therapy sessions to foster youth and adoptive families.
- Facilitate therapeutic visits between foster youth and their birth families or other caregivers.
- Collaborate with social workers and other professionals to develop and implement care plans.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field.
- Valid California Driver’s License and access to a reliable vehicle.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in mental health or social work.
- Experience working with foster youth and/or adoption-related issues.
- Pass a background check and drug screening.
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with diverse populations.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Skills
- Knowledge of trauma-informed care principles.
- Experience with telepsychiatry and virtual therapy platforms.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

Pay
Salary range: $50,000 - $70,000 annually, depending on experience.
