Case Aide

About the role

The role is dedicated to providing comprehensive support to foster youth and adoptive families, focusing on mental health services and therapeutic visitation.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and family therapy sessions to foster youth and adoptive families.
• Facilitate therapeutic visits between foster youth and their birth families or other caregivers.
• Collaborate with social workers and other professionals to develop and implement care plans.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field.
• Valid California Driver’s License and access to a reliable vehicle.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in mental health or social work.
• Experience working with foster youth and/or adoption-related issues.
• Pass a background check and drug screening.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with diverse populations.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Skills

• Knowledge of trauma-informed care principles.
• Experience with telepsychiatry and virtual therapy platforms.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

Pay

Salary range: $50,000 - $70,000 annually, depending on experience.
