Primary Responsibilities And Essential Functions Of Position

• Provide case management, substance abuse counseling, and advocacy services.
• Provide direct services to clients with no insurance.
• Provides individual psychotherapy, group and/or family therapy as indicated.
• Maintains case records, updates treatment plans, writes progress notes and psycho-social histories.
• Participate as a member of an interdisciplinary treatment team to facilitate the client recovery and rehabilitation processes.
• Participate in all Clinical Diagnostic Team (CDT) meetings.
• Refer and broker targeted interventions as needed for families and contribute to the healthy integrity of the program’s therapeutic environment.
• Provides consultation to case planners regarding families who struggle with substance abuse.
• Conducts intakes including psycho-social history, makes clinical assessment and designs individual treatment plans with conjunction with other staff.
• Congducts treatment with other community based organizations as indicated.
• Establishes professional and therapeutic relationship.
• Performs other duties within the scope of the role.

Qualifications

• CASAC certification Required
• Bachelor's degree from your year college or equivalent Required ;Master's degree or equivalent Preferred
• A minimum of five years of experience working with adolescents/children and parents/caretakers that abuse substances Required
