CAS Senior Accountant

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain loyal customer relationships to understand their business to support well in CAS role
- Provide financial services to clients such as bookkeeping, month-end close, financial reporting and advisory services to meet their financial needs in a timely manner
- Provide accounting related client services independently, including accounts payable, accounts receivables, bank and credit card reconciliations, journal entries, monthly, quarterly, and year-end reporting
- Assess information, problem-solve, and exhibit strong communication with clients and team members
- Provide excellent client service to support general accounting and software questions and take on more complex accounting work
- Perform self-review to ensure a consistent and accurate work product
- Collaborate with our team and clients to support needed work
- Escalate more complex financial needs to lead advisor and/or CAS Lead, as appropriate
Qualifications
- 3-5+ years of public and/or private accounting experience
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field, or equivalent experience
- QuickBooks Online experience preferred; ERP software a plus
- Strong working knowledge of accrual accounting and internal controls required
- Maintain and expand knowledge base of accounting principles and practices
- Must be detail-oriented and adaptable to learn new technology and AI software, as needed
- Regular local travel based on client and/or firm needs
- 40-45+ hours/week average, with heavier hours needed during periods of high volume
