About the role
The Cart Delivery position requires driving a pickup truck pulling a utility trailer.
Responsibilities
- Delivering, swapping out, and collecting 95‑gallon carts
- Maintaining repairs to carts as needed
- Ability to lift over 50 pounds
- Perform complete pre‑ and post‑operation inspection of the vehicle in accordance with company policy; report any safety issues on standard reports
- Courteously interact with all customers, dispatchers and others on a daily basis to ensure all cart deliveries are serviced in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain adherence to required productivity standards for the department to ensure all customers are serviced in a timely and efficient manner
- Follow all required safety policies and procedures
- Perform other job‑related duties as assigned
- This position is for cart delivery and requires a valid driver’s license
Qualifications
- High school diploma
- 1‑3 years of experience in a similar position
- Experience in the solid waste industry preferred
- Valid driver’s license (required for cart delivery)
Requirements
- Ability to lift over 50 pounds (regular duties)
- Heavy lifting (50‑100 pounds) in a shop environment
- Ability to work outdoors
