Cart Associate - HNL Honolulu Airport-Full-time

About the role

Smarte Carte Inc. is seeking a CART ASSOCIATE to join our team at Honolulu Airport. This full-time position pays $17.50 - $19.50 per hour, with an additional $10 monthly cellular phone allowance.

Responsibilities

• Manually move carts throughout departures, baggage claim, and parking/garage areas to cart collection areas (vending units or cart track).
• Transport carts using mechanized equipment or by hand, following established routes to generate revenue and provide customer access to luggage carts.
• Adhere to cart replenishment inventory protocol for rental mechanized equipment.
• Perform routine cleaning of carts, CMU’s, EQR’s, cart tracks, locks, keys, and moving equipment.
• Learn and practice safe work habits to ensure safety to self, co-workers, company equipment, airport property, passengers, and visitors.
• Provide general customer service to assist passengers navigating throughout the airport.
• Possess strong work habits and perform the job in an honest, reliable, and professional manner.
• Communicate effectively with peers, maintenance, and management to improve business operations.
• Adapt to operational changes.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Customer service skills and comfort speaking to the general public.
• Certifications/licenses required: Ability to obtain an Airport Badge.
• Physical requirements: Lift 40 lbs., push/pull 40 lbs. to move 15 carts simultaneously, walk and stand for duration of shift.

Schedule

The position is eligible for weekend and holiday availability.

Pay
