Carrier Sales Representative

About the role

The role of Carrier Sales Representative at Allen Lund Company involves prospecting, contracting, securing, and establishing relationships with carriers to move truckload and LTL volumes of dry, refrigerated, and flatbed cargo. This position requires a great deal of independent thought, organization, analytic skills, and strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Carrier Acquisition & Development Dynamo: Develop and increase profitable volume with existing and newly acquired carriers. Build strong relationships with carriers to understand their business, qualify them better, and gain knowledge of lanes serviced. Contact and build strong relationships with carriers, increasing capacity for specific projects and lanes, and boosting the overall capacity for the office and company.
• Exceptional Customer Service Provider: Deliver exceptional customer service in every interaction!
• Process Upholder: Uphold the set processes, procedures, and protocols established to qualify and match the correct carrier for a shipment based on the service required. Consistently uphold the company standard by following our core principles of Customer, Company, Office.
