Responsibilities
- Assist and support the office in upholding standards, policies, and procedures with independent thought, organization, and strong communication
- Develop and increase profitable volume with existing and newly acquired carriers
- Build and maintain strong carrier relationships to understand their business, qualify them effectively, and gain knowledge of lanes serviced
- Contact carriers to increase capacity for specific projects, lanes, and overall office/company capacity
- Deliver exceptional customer service in every interaction
- Manage daily branch operations, including building loads, setting up carriers, updating/checking calls, and scheduling pick-up and delivery appointments
- Update customer systems and communicate critical information to customers
- Uphold established processes, procedures, and protocols to qualify and match carriers with shipments based on service requirements
- Consistently follow company standards and core principles: Customer, Company, Office
Requirements
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Two years of experience in a 3PL environment, with hands-on experience booking trucks
- Excellent and effective communication skills
- Strong customer service orientation and work ethic
- Ability to quickly process information and make decisions
- Excellent time-management skills with the ability to multitask
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Ability to work well under pressure
