Duties/Responsibilities
- Possess a strong sales mindset and a consultative approach to carrier relationships.
- Drive carrier acquisition, onboard new partners, and provide hands-on training to help them navigate the Emerge RFP Platform and Contract Marketplace.
- Empower carriers to bid strategically, optimize their network, and secure long-term freight opportunities.
- Guide carriers on bidding strategies and pricing to maximize contract awards.
- Work closely with internal operations teams and carrier dispatch teams to ensure seamless execution and high service performance on secured freight.
Required Skills/Abilities
- 3+ years of relevant experience and track record of success in Carrier-facing Sales, Operations, Account Management or Fleet Management roles. Carrier Sales experience a plus.
- Knowledge of the freight market, logistics industry, sales, and negotiating principles.
- The ability to work and learn in a fast-paced team environment.
- Comfortable in dynamic start-up work environment.
- Proficient in MS Office and G Suite (Excel/Sheets, PowerPoint/Slides, Word/Docs, etc).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, comfort presenting to and building relationships with executive level decision makers.
- Organizational and time-management skills.
- Enthusiastic, passionate, and self-motivated.
