Duties/Responsibilities

  • Possess a strong sales mindset and a consultative approach to carrier relationships.
  • Drive carrier acquisition, onboard new partners, and provide hands-on training to help them navigate the Emerge RFP Platform and Contract Marketplace.
  • Empower carriers to bid strategically, optimize their network, and secure long-term freight opportunities.
  • Guide carriers on bidding strategies and pricing to maximize contract awards.
  • Work closely with internal operations teams and carrier dispatch teams to ensure seamless execution and high service performance on secured freight.

Required Skills/Abilities

  • 3+ years of relevant experience and track record of success in Carrier-facing Sales, Operations, Account Management or Fleet Management roles. Carrier Sales experience a plus.
  • Knowledge of the freight market, logistics industry, sales, and negotiating principles.
  • The ability to work and learn in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Comfortable in dynamic start-up work environment.
  • Proficient in MS Office and G Suite (Excel/Sheets, PowerPoint/Slides, Word/Docs, etc).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, comfort presenting to and building relationships with executive level decision makers.
  • Organizational and time-management skills.
  • Enthusiastic, passionate, and self-motivated.
