Job Responsibilities
- Gather carrier communications sent to Underwriting and the Carrier Appointments team and upload the information to the shared folder on a weekly basis
- Administer carrier promotions by receiving ad-hoc incentive/promotion requests from carrier partners and updating the requests to a shared document for agents to view
- Send notices to carriers whenever there are agent updates (addresses, phone numbers, agent/agency name changes, etc.)
- Update products by state in Salesforce for new and existing carriers
- Set up credentials for new hires on a weekly basis for field and corporate office
- Disable credentials/appointments for terminated staff on a weekly basis for the field and corporate office
- Aid Carrier Appointment Specialist 2 with Agent office closures
- Manage all Carrier credentials for Home Office
- Absorb and assist field users with Carrier credentials issues
- Perform audits in Salesforce to ensure user accuracy
- Regularly check email and other systems for work requests
- Proactively make outbound calls or send emails to clarify information or gather correct information
- Handle special projects and other duties as assigned

Education and Experience
- This position requires a high school diploma, although some college and/or professional development in insurance-related areas are preferred
- Applicant should have 2-4 years’ experience in a professional workplace, preferably in the insurance industry
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Salesforce experience is desired but not required
