Carpentry Lead / Onsite Carpenter

About the role

The successful candidate will lead carpentry projects onsite, overseeing the work of other carpenters and ensuring all projects meet high standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Oversee carpentry projects from start to finish
• Supervise and train other carpenters
• Ensure adherence to project timelines and budgets
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and clients to interpret design specifications
• Manage materials and resources efficiently
• Ensure compliance with local building codes and safety regulations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field
• Minimum 5 years of carpentry experience
• Experience leading teams of carpenters
• Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• Proficiency in carpentry tools and techniques
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans
• Experience with project management software
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Pay
