Carpentry Apprentice

Stewart Painting Inc is seeking a motivated and hardworking Carpentry Apprentice to join our Cape Cod team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to build a career in carpentry and gain hands-on experience working alongside skilled professionals.

Responsibilities

- Assist experienced carpenters with framing, flooring, siding, roofing, and interior finishing work. - Measure, cut, and assemble materials according to blueprints and specifications. - Use and maintain hand and power tools safely and effectively. - Load, unload, and organize materials on job sites. - Follow safety guidelines and ensure a clean and secure work environment. - Learn and apply proper carpentry techniques under the supervision of journeymen and master carpenters. - Support the team with other duties as needed to ensure project success.

Qualifications

- High school diploma or GED preferred. - Prior experience in construction or carpentry is a plus but not required. - Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced carpenters. - Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail. - Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions. - Physically able to stand for long periods, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs. - Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions. - Basic knowledge of tools and measurements is beneficial. - Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites.
