UIC Arctic Operations & Development is seeking a skilled Project Manager.

About the role

As a Project Manager at UIC Arctic Operations & Development, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and control of projects to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and meet the required quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop project plans and manage project schedules
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including engineering, procurement, and construction
• Manage project budgets and monitor cost performance
• Ensure compliance with project scope, quality, and safety requirements
• Communicate project status to stakeholders and manage stakeholder expectations
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with the project

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of relevant project management experience
• Experience in Arctic operations and development projects preferred
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools

Skills

• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience with project risk management
