UIC Arctic Operations & Development is seeking a skilled Project Manager to lead our Arctic operations and development projects. This role will be based in our headquarters in Chicago.
About the role
The Project Manager will oversee project planning, execution, and closure, ensuring all projects meet budget, schedule, and quality standards. They will also manage relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
- Oversee project execution, monitor progress, and address issues as they arise
- Manage client relationships and ensure client satisfaction
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success
- Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with project management methodologies and company policies
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of relevant project management experience
- Experience working in Arctic environments preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in project management tools and software
Qualifications
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Skills
- Project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Project management software (e.g., Primavera, Microsoft Project)
- Arctic environment knowledge (preferred)

Pay
Salary range: $80,000 - $120,000 annually
Schedule
Full-time position, Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM
