Pay

Earn up to $35.99 per hour, depending on experience and skill level. Additional opportunities for overtime and specialized training are available.

Responsibilities

• Erect, modify, and dismantle temporary elevated platforms and staging to support ship construction and repair.
• Utilize pre-engineered scaffolding systems, including vertical posts, horizontal bars, and engineered connection points.
• Install temporary wire-rope guardrails and other fall-protection measures.
• Inspect shipboard work areas, ensuring all open holes and hazardous openings are properly covered and secured.
• Work in various shipboard environments and support evolving production needs.

Requirements

• Experience constructing scaffolding or performing industrial carpentry work (preferred).
• Knowledge of elevated-work safety, fall-protection systems, and OSHA requirements.
• Ability to read and follow scaffold specifications and installation guidelines.
• Comfort working at heights and in complex shipyard environments.
• Strong commitment to safety, craftsmanship, and teamwork.
