Carpenter- Mid West Infrastructure
About the role
Graham is seeking top-tier talent to join our Infrastructure division and build innovative projects in the transit and transportation sectors, such as roads, highways/freeways, bridges, interchanges, LRTs, BRTs, and airports.
Responsibilities
- Read blueprints for work planning
- Understand concrete forming, build concrete forms, and other structures
- Complete rough and finishing carpentry tasks, while utilizing appropriate math skills
- Check completed units to ensure they are level, square, plumb and the right size, shape and location
- Adjust work as required
- Cut, shape, and join
- Lay out and place rebar
- Erect scaffolding and ladders for assembling structures above ground level
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Ensure proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed
- Bring problems to the attention of the Foreman, Safety Manager or Human Resource

The position requires good manual dexterity and multilimbed coordination. The position requires the ability to quickly move arms and legs. The employee must have excellent stamina.
