Carpenter - Leading Hand

About the role

We're seeking an experienced Carpenter - Leading Hand to join our dynamic construction team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified tradesperson to combine their craft expertise with leadership responsibilities while working on diverse construction, renovation, and maintenance projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead carpentry tasks and supervise apprentices and journeymen
• Plan and coordinate construction activities to ensure project timelines are met
• Oversee quality control and safety standards on all projects
• Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and other tradespeople
• Manage budgets and resources efficiently

Requirements

• At least 5 years of carpentry experience
• Proven leadership skills in a construction environment
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a recognized carpentry training program
• Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations
• Proficiency in carpentry tools and equipment

Salary range: $50,000 - $60,000 annually
