Responsibilities

• Own a standard set of tools to perform all trades.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
• Fabricate forms, assemble and disassemble regular and special formwork.
• Place vibrating and finishing concrete.
• Manage and utilize generators, light plants, water pumps, compressors, compressed air, and power tools.
• Apply curing compounds, epoxies, and other chemicals.
• Construct MSE walls.
• Use fall‑protection harnesses properly.
• Fabricate temporary support systems and railings.
• Review existing operations and recommend improved methods and procedures for traffic‑maintenance activities.
• Provide verbal and written status reports and special reports as needed.
• Demonstrate a positive, dependable attitude, follow company policies and procedures, and complete all tasks in a timely, professional manner.
• Work a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5–9 years of carpenter experience in a construction environment (preferred).
• Valid driver’s license.
• NCCER certification/license (preferred).
• Experience in a supervisory role.
