Responsibilities

• cabinet and furniture repair
• putting
• roofing and sheet metal work
• tuckpointing and sealing
• flooring repair and installation
• sand blasting

Minimum Qualifications

• ability to understand and implement oral and written instructions
• two years of carpentry experience
• ability to use tools of the carpentry trade, including power woodworking machinery
• possession of a valid Oklahoma driver license

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• high school diploma or equivalent
• technical school training in carpentry field
• additional years of carpentry experience
• experience in finish carpentry work
• experience with plastering

Physical Requirements

• working in very tight areas/cramped enclosures
• climbing ladders, working at heights
• lifting and carrying loads over fifty pounds
• prolonged standing and walking
• working with insulation such as fiberglass
• excessive stooping and bending
• exposure to odors
• exposure to disagreeable tasks or conditions
• climbing stairs, including carrying while climbing
• work may involve night, weekend, shift or overtime work
