About the role

A Carpenter I independently performs a wide variety of skilled carpentry work in the construction, alteration and repair of structural woodwork and wooden articles as a regular and continuing work assignment, and may supervise one or more Carpenter Helpers or other helpers assisting in the work and performs other related duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Perform rough and finished carpentry work
  • Supervise Carpenter Helpers or other helpers
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Legal authorization to work in the United States
  • Four (4) years of work experience in performing a variety of ROUGH and FINISHED carpentry work
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training
  • A valid driver's license
  • The ability to lift and carry items of various weights
