About the role

We are looking for a Carpenter to join our Operations team on our project in Conesville, OH. This is a full-time position.

Responsibilities

• Constructing and maintaining safety handrails and hole protection, steps and gang ladders, temporary weather enclosures and protection.
• Sawing, stripping, nailing, measuring, drilling, and other duties assigned by supervisor.
• Experience working with Concrete is a huge plus.

Requirements

• Possess 5 years of construction experience.
• Must be able to read basic drawings.
• Have training on construction safety protocols (i.e. OSHA 10, fall protection, mobile elevated platform (boom and scissor)).
• Demonstrate ownership of assigned tasks, maintain professionalism, and use critical thinking to solve issues.
• Must be agile/mobile, remain alert, and able to:
  • Stand or walk for long periods of time.
  • Use fingers, hands, and arms to reach, handle, and manipulate objects.
  • Climb up/down ladders, scaffolds, and other objects.
  • Work on uneven surfaces and at heights.
  • Read and write.
  • See and hear well, either naturally or with correction.
• Must be able to lift and carry materials of all shapes and sizes weighing 50-100 lbs., 75% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications

• Able to work in an OSHA-compliant safety environment.
• Able to work outside.
• Able to work overtime and weekend hours.
• Punctuality and promptness are required every day.
