Carpenter Craftsman

Responsibilities

• Sculpt and piece together siding, drywall, kitchen cabinets, and furniture
• Build door and window frames, stairways, rafters, and partitions
• Confirm flooring, roofing, and drywall are level and compatible
• Check existing sketches and blueprints to understand project requirements
• Conduct inspections, maintenance, and fix structures
• Perform framing and structural repairs
• Repair wood rot and damaged decking
• Install windows, doors, siding, trim, and exterior components
• Auxiliary work with roofing systems as needed
• Ensure all work is level, plumb, square, and built to code
• Maintain clean and professional job sites
• Communicate clearly with project managers

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of carpentry tools, materials, and techniques
• Driver’s license required
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Accurate measuring and math skills required
• Strong physical condition and excellent hand dexterity
• 3+ years of carpentry experience required
• Strong understanding of residential construction
• Experience with exterior systems preferred
• Able to read scopes of work and follow job specifications
• Reliable transportation required
• Valid driver's license required
• Must have own basic tools
• Strong work ethic and accountability
