Carpenter (Construction and Renovation)

About the role

The Carpenter contributes to AHF by renovating spaces, rooms, offices and performing maintenance to AHF locations and properties. The Carpenter enhances the reputation of AHF by projecting professional conduct while performing remodeling and repairs to assigned buildings, properly communicating with hotel managers, staff and his direct Facilities supervisor. Responsibilities

• Renovating spaces, rooms, offices
• Performing maintenance to AHF locations and properties
• Performing remodeling and repairs to assigned buildings
• Properly communicating with hotel managers, staff and direct Facilities supervisor
• Working as part of a close-knit team to plan and gather information needed for successful start and completion of a renovation or repair
• Using proven experience from previous jobs with knowledge of construction trades
• Taking care of AHF equipment (trucks, tools, materials)
• Performing maintenance and remodelings on properties as directed
• Traveling from one location to another as required
• Accommodating team work in solving emergencies by being flexible
• Maintaining reasonable availability for extended hours when needed

Qualifications

• Proven experience from previous jobs with knowledge of construction trades
• Ability to communicate effectively with hotel managers, staff and supervisors
• Flexibility to travel between locations and work extended hours as needed

Pay

$23.00 - $23.50 per hour
