Position Highlights
Monday- Friday 2:45pm - 11:00:pm; 80 hours 2 weeks
Weekend and on call 5 week rotation
About the role
An experienced maintenance professional specializing in finish carpentry, commercial door hardware repair, pneumatic tube system support, or similar complex mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical equipment within a healthcare environment.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrates the ability to perform finish carpentry work including but not limited to removing or installing cabinets, counter tops, trim and door components.
- Must be able to install drywall, plaster, metal studs (building materials) and perform caulking.
- Diagnoses, maintains and repairs hospital infrastructure and equipment such as tube transport systems.
- Demonstrates the ability to troubleshoot, service and assemble furniture and cubicles including sit-to-stand desks.
- Must have the ability to install and repair suspended ceiling panels and grid systems.

- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job function satisfactorily including having visual acuity adequate to perform position duties and the ability to communicate effectively with others, hear, understand and distinguish speech and other sounds.
Qualifications
- Technical Certificate from an accredited program;
- three to six months related experience and/or training;
- or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Visual acuity adequate to perform position duties.

- Ability to hear, understand and distinguish speech and other sounds.

Pay
The pay range for this position is listed below. Actual pay rate dependent upon experience.
$24.00 - $35.00
