Carpenter

Garney is seeking an experienced carpenter who takes pride in their work and strives for precision and efficiency. In this role, you will construct, erect, install, and repair structures using materials such as wood, steel, plywood, and concrete.

Responsibilities

• Verify the trueness of structures using tools like plumb bobs, lasers, carpenter levels, squares, and transits prior to concrete placements
• Construct forms and chutes for concrete placement
• Assemble and tie reinforcing steel
• Operate hand tools and power tools, such as saws, drills, roto hammers, and grinders

Requirements

• Firm knowledge of carpenter structures, forms, and tools
• Willingness to complete “Fall Protection Certification” and OSHA 10 (provided by Garney)
• Willingness to work overtime
